TIL SCHWEIGER TATORT – PART I: WELCOME TO HAMBURG (2013)


Nick Tschiller (Til Schweiger), an undercover investigator from Frankfurt and a Special Deployment Commando Officer, takes up the duty in Hamburg to have more time for his 15-year-old daughter Lenny. During his first assignment for the Hamburg LKA, the self-determined investigator and his colleague Yalcin Gümer (Fahri Yardim) come across a wasp nest during a routine apartment search.

 
 
 
 

It comes to a brutal shooting, in which three members of the dreaded Astan clan are killed, with whom the Hamburg police apparently closed a peace treaty. Did Nick actually act in self-defense? What did his former VE partner Max Brenner do at the crime scene and what a strange game is Brenner's girlfriend Sandra playing? Now Tschiller is not only in the sights of the internal investigators of the LKA, but also of the brutal Astan clan...

TIL SCHWEIGER TATORT – PART II: BLOOD MONEY (2014)


The Kurdish Astan clan threatens to take over power with a gigantic drug business, although clan boss Firat Astan (Erdal Yildiz) is in prison with his cross-paralyzed brother Ismal (Sahin Eryilmaz).

 
 
 
 

Tschiller (Til Schweiger) teams up with Enno Kromer (Ralph Herforth), the bitter drug specialist of the LKA, who has been trying to dry out the Hamburg drug swamp for years. In addition to his colleague Gümer (Fahri Yardim), Nick also receives help from the public prosecutor Hanna Lennerz (Edita Malovcic), with whom he has a lot in common outside of the case as well. But then Firat Astan puts a high bounty on Tschiller, which endangers also his ex-wife Isabella (Stefanie Stappenbeck) and his daughter Lenny (Luna Schweiger)...

A year after the successful strike against the Astan clan, life is quiet for Nick Tschiller (Til Schweiger). He and Gümer (Fahri Yardim) are a well-functioning team and finally there is more time for daughter Lenny (Luna Schweiger).

 
 
 
 

But the peace is abruptly over, because Firat Astan (Erdal Yildiz) is to continue reign from prison. When a friend of Nick dies and his wife and daughter disappear, it is clear that only Astan can be behind it. And what is the purpose of the beautiful mysterious missionary killer Leyla (Helene Fischer)? A murderous race against time begins, in which Tschiller must resort to all means

TIL SCHWEIGER TATORT – PART IV: PURGATORY (2015)


After the death of Tschiller's ex-wife Isabella (Stefanie Stappenbeck), Nick knows only one goal: to hunt down Firat Astan (Erdal Yildiz). In a spectacular hostage-taking, Chechen terrorists demand Astan's release and Nick wants to deliver him personally, whereby he is single-handedly acting against the LKA.

 
 
 
 

Meanwhile his colleagues Kallwey (Britta Hammelstein) and Gümer (Fahri Yardim) are tracing a conspiracy, which puts the hostage-taking into a new light. Nick Tschiller's most personal case is not only the final battle against his arch rival, but also a struggle against his own demons.
